APS2 Data Entry Officer – Contract

We are seeking APS2 Data Entry Officers to support high-volume operational work within a structured, deadline-driven environment. This role is well suited to candidates with strong data entry skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in repetitive workflows.


Contract Details

  • Role: APS2 Data Entry Officer

  • Contract Term: From 12 January 2026 (or commencement date) to 1 July 2026

  • Hours:

    • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

    • Standard hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

    • Up to 38 hours per week

  • Location: Onsite, Brisbane CBD

    • Working from home is not available


Security Requirements

  • Australian citizenship is mandatory

  • A completed police check is required prior to commencement


About the Role

You will support high-volume administrative and data processing activities within a regulated and procedural environment. The role requires accuracy, consistency, and the ability to meet performance targets while working within defined frameworks and timeframes.

This is a scheduled onsite role with clear productivity and quality expectations.


Key Duties

  • Perform high-speed, accurate data entry, including document preparation, scanning, personalisation, cropping, and re-work of document or image exceptions

  • Analyse paper-based applications and accurately transfer information to online systems (as required)

  • Provide administrative support prior to and during the processing of official documentation, with guidance as required

  • Assist in production workflows by ensuring data quality and accuracy prior to finalisation

  • Undertake quality assurance checks on application forms and supporting documentation

  • Meet deadlines, output targets, and performance expectations in line with operational frameworks

  • Apply strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality work in line with established quality thresholds

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to analyse numerical and written information

  • Comfort performing repetitive tasks daily in a high-volume environment

  • Reliability, adaptability, and the ability to respond to changing workloads and priorities

  • Experience working in a legislative, compliance, or regulated environment is desirable, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge
